Your hair and its natural oils

Your scalp produces a natural, waxy oil called sebum from glands beneath the skin. Sebum naturally moisturizes your hair when it makes its way from the scalp to lubricate the rest of your hair strands.

The sebum that your scalp produces may not be enough to properly moisturize your hair. In addition, other factors like product selection, over washing, and over styling can lead to dryness.

Instead of moisturizing your hair all the time, the best way to determine why your hair is experiencing hair dryness is to keep a curl journal. Once you are able to find out what is causing dryness you can then identify products that provide the proper moisture level.

That's why we created Rebalance.

Rebalance is a pre-conditioner treatment for providing moisture because it contains aloe vera and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which provides moisture, and coconut and sunflower oil to seal in the moisture.
