At the heart of Naturally Drenched is our founder, Jamila Powell—a woman who truly embodies the phrase “getting things done.” If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to juggle a million things at once and still come out on top, Jamila is the definition. Jamila is a mom, a lawyer, a previous salon owner, a volleyball mom (which, let’s be honest, is a full-time job in itself), and the brilliant mind behind Naturally Drenched.  It’s safe to say she doesn’t sleep much, but her passion and drive are what make Naturally Drenched so unique.

It all started with Jamila’s love for all things curls. As a curly girl herself, she understood the struggles of finding products that worked and the joy of finally embracing natural hair. That love led her to open a salon dedicated to curls, where she could help women feel confident and beautiful in their natural texture. But she didn’t stop there. Jamila noticed a gap in the market for clean, effective, and luxurious hair care products specifically designed for curls. And just like that, Naturally Drenched was born.

For Jamila, the salon and Naturally Drenched are more than just businesses—they’re a source of joy.
